David Powell founded Precision in 1987 with one purpose in mind; to serve the needs of car stereo customers in Bainbridge and surrounding communities in Decatur County and South Georgia, and to do so by providing their customers with a high level of expertise and customer service as well as the best possible price.
The family owned store with two employees soon realized that customers in the area were also in need of a retailer that would display and sell a large selection of items like truck accessories, wheels and tires as well as window tinting.
In 2002 they expanded the store to 7,000 square feet to be able to display a wide assortment of these products and in 2009 they expanded their assortment to include home integration, including home audio/video, satellite TV systems, telephone, intercom and internet wiring.
Precision’s professional sales staff is constantly being trained to be able to serve the customers needs and to answer all their questions.
The company has installers who are professionals with a combined 40 years experience in the industry and have performed over 10,000 installations. Precision’s employees do not consider their job to be a hobby; it’s their profession.
The store has been selected by Mobile Electronics Magazine as one of the top 100 retailers for 2010 in the US and the company has been a member of the Mobile Electronics Retailers Association since 1999, where David Powell has been serving on that board since 2006. Precision is also a member of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA).
